BBC Photo of the Year

Here is the winning photo in the BBC's Photographer of the Year. This stunning Aurora Boreas photo was taken by Max Pickerington inside the Arctic Circle in northern Finland. Looks kind of cold but wow!!! That is an amazing photo! There were some other really amazing photo's on the BBC's website you might want to look at.

My Apologies...

Well, I admit it…I have neglected Bamboo Fishbowl since Blarg and I came back from out Christmas holiday in Thailand. My apologies to all 4.3 of my faithful readers. Blarg and I have been in some serious Thailand withdrawal and can not wait to go back! This is the view looking up from our beachfront loungers on the beach...I love palm trees!!

Ouch, jet lag hurts my brain...as soon as I can tell my head from a hole in the ground I will post...with fun travel pictures...it is almost 10am here at home but it is really midnight in Bangkok...
